Sastrería de papel es una colección de personajes móviles pintados y montados a mano.
Dispone de cuatro líneas de diseño llamado Dedales y por el momento cuatro modelos.
La idea nació tras recordar unos muñecos móviles que me gustaban mucho y que hacía en el colegio, siendo bastante pequeño. Estuve muchos meses dándole vueltas al tema, hasta que me puse manos a la obra. Y de ese modo surgió "La Banshee", el prototipo.
Éste es un producto artesanal pensado para fabricarlo/repetirlo a pequeña escala. Ninguno de los modelos realizados quedan iguales al 100%, aunque partan del mismo diseño. Y eso me parece un toque divertido y exclusivo.

Paper Tailoring is a collection of hand-painted and hand-assembled mobile characters. It has four design lines called Sellos and at the moment five models and one derivative.
The idea was born after remembering some mobile characters that I liked a lot and I used to make at school, when I was a child. I spent many months thinking about it, until I got down to work. And that is how “The Banshee”, the prototype, was born.
This is a handmade product designed to be manufactured/repeated on a small scale. None of the models made are 100% the same, even though they are based on the same design. And that seems to me a fun and exclusive touch.

La temática del sello negro es gótica y oscura. Este modelo fue el prototipo de Sastrería de papel, con él dio inicio la aventura. Con el tiempo rediseñé este personaje, mejorándolo.
The Black Seal theme is gothic and dark. This model was the prototype for Paper Tailoring, with it the adventure began. Over time, I redesigned this character, improving it.
La temática del sello Azul es histórica y literaria. Con este modelo comencé a aplicar lo aprendido con el anterior, aunque necesitaba explorar más.
The theme of the Blue Seal is historical and literary. With this model I began to apply what I learned with the previous one, although I needed to explore more.
La temática del Sello Rojo es elegante y vintage. Aquí me apetecía crear una figura masculina, a un hombre bien vestido y clásico. Al igual que con “La Banshee”, lo he rediseñado cambiando muchos materiales.
The Red Seal theme is elegant and vintage. Here I felt like creating a masculine figure, a well-dressed, classic man. As with “The Banshee”, I redesigned it by changing many materials.
La temática del Sello Blanco es fantástica y mitológica. Necesitaba probar otras figuras y una cola de pez me pareció todo un reto.
The White Seal’s theme is fantastical and mythological. I needed to try other figures and a fish tail seemed like quite a challenge.
Cuando terminé los cuatro personajes estuve un tiempo dándoles vueltas al primer modelo. Tal y como mencioné antes, no tardé en reediseñar "La Banshee". Y poco después, le tocó el turno al Caballero Azul.
Como prometí, aquí muestro los cambios.
When I finished the four characters I spent some time kicking around the first model. As I mentioned before, it did not take me long to redesign “The Banshee”. And soon after, it was the turn of the Blue Knight.
As promised, here I show the changes.
Pero la cosa no se queda aquí. Tenía ganas de explorar otros campos. Las hadas siempre me han gustado como protectoras de los más pequeños de la casa. Y así surgió una versión un poco más simple de Sastrería de papel, que en esta ocasión no es móvil.
Iré diseñando nuevos personajes con el tiempo y los iré compartiendo por aquí.
But it does not stop there. I was eager to explore other fields. Fairies have always appealed to me as protectors of the little ones in the house. And so a slightly simpler version of Paper Tailoring emerged, which this time is not mobile.
I will be designing new characters over time and I will share them here.
